The Mass Ave Cultural Arts District invites local artists, makers, and vendors to participate in the Mass Ave Summerfest, a lively, outdoor celebration featuring art, shopping, live music, and many visitors.
Join us on Massachusetts Avenue for one of downtown Indianapolis’s most vibrant summer events, the Mass Ave Mile Summerfest. This outdoor, rain‑or‑shine festival brings thousands of residents and visitors to the heart of the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District for a full day of shopping, music, and celebration of local creativity.

The Mass Ave NEXT Advisory Committee is a diverse group of community, business, arts, and civic leaders who provide guidance throughout the vision planning process. The committee ensures that the plan reflects the district’s values, captures the needs of residents and businesses, and aligns with long-term goals for cultural vibrancy, economic vitality, mobility, and livability. Their role is to provide community insight, review and provide input on plan elements, support engagement, and serve as a sounding board,

The idea is that it would be an open, informal space to connect—no appointments needed. The public is invited to just bring your thoughts (and their coffee!).
