Enjoy the Excitement on Mass Ave! Join Us for a Day of Festivities! Shop the Sidewalk Sale, Take a History Tour, and join the Block Party as we transform the 600 Block of Mass Ave into a vibrant, traffic-free street festival filled with live music, local food and drink, and a butling marketplace of artists, makers and crafters!
Get ready for fun day of shopping, strolling, and entertainment at the Mass Ave Summerfest. Shop the Merchants Association Sidewalk Sale, sign up for a History Tour, or take in a day of local music and block party festivities. Block Party
The heart of Summerfest will be centered around the lively 600 block of Mass Ave, featuring a beautiful greenspace provided by festival partner Stenz Corporation. The 600 block will be closed to traffic and will reopen filled with up to 50 artist and maker booths. Local performers will provide a day of music and entertainment thanks to Stage Sponsor Cunningham Restaurant Group until 5 PM. No entry fee for the Block Party.
Sidewalk Sale
And a bonus, the Mass Ave Merchants Association will be holding its annual sidewalk sale throughout the district on Mass Ave from New York Street to the Bottleworks Hotel. Get your Merchant Association passport and visit at least 10 businesses to enter a drawing for a free overnight stay at Bottleworks Hotel.
Mass Ave History Walking Tour
Want to learn more about the rich history of Mass Ave? Join the Mass Ave History Walking Tour at 10 AM. Join us for a captivating 90-minute journey into the past of one of Indianapolis’s most iconic streets, guided by Massachusetts Avenue Cultural Arts District Board Member Jeff Stroebel. Attendance is limited to 12 participants, and the $20 ticket fee is a donation to the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District. Reserve Your Spot Today! Tours begin promptly at 10 AM. Registration Link here

Produced by Indy Criterium, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization comprised of volunteer board members who serve year-round to organize and support our signature program the Momentum Indy. Mass Ave is proud to host this signature, nationally-recognized event.

The Mass Ave Run/Walk is back on August 1 at 7 PM. This is the 11th year of the RUN(317) series. Around 2,000 participants are expected this year. Run 317 is proud to welcome Girls on the Run as our official charity sponsor of RUN(317) Mass Ave.

We invite you to showcase your fine art and maker capabilities at the third annual MASS AVE MILE SUMMER FEST BLOCK PARTY.
Mass Ave, in partnership with District and IF Theaters, closes the 600 block to traffic for a day of live music, food, drink and a street fair featuring a day of music performance, local artist and maker booths.
Mass Ave Cultural Arts District invites local artists and makers. to reserve their booth now. Limited to 50 spots. We hope you will join us and help us make the event grow each year so it will become a reliable venue for your art.
