Mass Ave Bloom Sponsorship Program

Mass Ave is one of Indianapolis’s most beloved cultural district’s, a place where locals and visitors come to walk, shop, dine and discover. But its beauty doesn’t happen by accident. Every flowerbed, planter and street amenity requires year-round care. Mass Ave has no funding, except your donation, to support these important streetscape elements that welcome our 3M visitors (source: Visit Indy) each year. Your annual charitable donation will support the flowers, seasonal plantings and furnishings that make Mass Ave vibrant, welcoming and beautiful.

Why your support matters.

Until we reach our full sponsorship goals of $50,000 + per year, Mass Ave will continue to rely on volunteers and limited professional services to maintain our green spaces. However, with predictable annual revenue, we can partner with professional contractors to:

  • Improve the appearance of flowerbeds
  • Ensure consistent maintenance and seasonal color
  • Water during summer (there is no water source so a truck with a water tank is needed)
  • Keep Mass Ave looking its best, 365 days a year!
Where your impact will be seen: Along Mass Ave from New York Street to 10th Street.

Your contribution will support, in order of priority:

  1. 52 flowerbeds (not including Cultural Trail beds) maintained and refreshed for the seasons
  2. Additional large-capacity trash receptacles
  3. Planters with seasonal flowers
    (new initiative)
  4. Artistic treatment of Scooter Parking locations
    (new initiative)

Mass Ave Cultural Arts District (MACAD)

The Mass Ave Cultural Arts District (MACAD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit organization seeks to preserve, enhance and promote the arts, placemaking, vibrancy, equity, heritage and prosperity of  the Mass Ave District in the NE Quad of downtown Indianapolis.

Incorporated in April 2021, it is committed to providing all visitors, businesses, and residents, shared stewardship and a welcoming sense of belonging to the district.

Mass Ave Merchants Association (MAMA)

The Cultural Arts District is powered by small, independent, and local businesses at the intersection of art, culture and commerce. The Mass Ave Merchants Association (MAMA) is a MACAD committee operating as a 501(c)6  nonprofit business association focused on promoting, encouraging, and supporting the development of Member businesses in the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District.
